The Haskell Indians watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 10-2 loss to Hawley on Tuesday. Hawley scored on a single by Hardee, a single by Stokes, a single by Jones, and a stolen base in the second inning.

The Indians lost despite out-hitting Hawley seven to five.

Hawley took an early lead in the second inning. With one out in the second inning Hardee drove in one run when he singled.

Ezell Woods and Rocky Haggard each drove in one run to lead The Indians.

Stokes led Hawley with two hits in five at bats. Hawley tore up the base paths, as four players stole at least two bases. Stokes led the way with two. Hawley was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Hicks made the most plays with ten.
